CARIA. Tabae. Pseudo-autonomous issue. AE (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.46 g, 11 h), circa 3rd century AD. ΤΑΒΗΝⲰΝ Nude male standing right, dipping his hands into a large basin into which water pours from a fountain on the right. Rev. Facing herm between large basin on the left and amphora on the right. Roma E-Auction 82 (2021), 599 (same dies). Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. A highly unusual and interesting issue. Minor deposits, otherwise, good fine.
